The development of these products took approximately one year between information gathering, research of the user flows that were already defined, mapping and prioritization of the emerging requirements and conceptualization and design of the screens in their different versions.

In general terms, different stages were carried out for the definition and design of the different scenarios and screens. And these were the methods used.

Team Methodologies: Lean Startup

Design Methodologies: Double Diamond, Design Thinking, Mobile first, Atomic Design.

Compilation and Research:

A checklist was made of all the flows that already existed in the products created.

At the time I joined this team there was only a functional mockup that covered the most important needs and the main MVP. A sweep was made of all the visual and documented information and the flows for the different users that entered the platforms were redefined and understood.

In this research, brief usability tests were conducted and feedback was gathered from stakeholders on how they viewed the platform and what opportunities for improvement they could identify.

Planning and Design:

When all the necessary data had been collected, we started to plan each requirement in the design and development kanban to align the progress. Each requirement was assigned the product and the stage it was in with snapshots of things to improve and detailed explanation to developers.

In the design stage, we started by making user flows, investigating solutions using the benchmarking tool and designing wireframes in low fidelity. Once the wireframes were advanced and the corresponding feedback was obtained, we moved forward with high fidelity wireframes and in some cases interactive prototypes as demos for clients.
